Florida Doctor Loses Medical License

The Board of Medicine has revoked the license of a Florida doctor for alleged medical malpractice, delegating responsibility to unlicensed personnel, and failing to keep accurate medical records, according to the New York Post.

The Department of Health recommended the license of Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique be suspended over his treatment of a teenage girl at his Hialeah clinic. The board decided to revoke his license instead, which means he cannot practice medicine in the state of Florida. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office is investigating if criminal charges should be filed.
